The giclée canvas prints above are stretched on thicker "gallery stretcher bars". These are approximately 2# thick and the recommended bars to use if you are planning to bypass the frame. the bars are substantial and create a really clean, modern look without feeling like the art is missing something.
The above giclée prints are dry mounted and then framed traditionally. Canvas prints are coated with a clear protective sheet so you don't need to use glass - which helps give the looks of an original piece of artwork.
Both looks are great, but depending on location, size and taste, one method might be better for you. We are happy to help you decide and the best part is that you can always pop a canvas print into a frame at a later date so those of you who are afraid of art commitment - fear not.

The Giclée printing process produces the highest quality archival prints for fine art reproductions. Our giclées are so accurate to the original it is difficult at times to tell them apart! Giclées use images at 300 dpi, they are printing on archival (acid-free 100% cotton rag paper) and use completely archival inks. The prints will be color accurate and will last much longer than we will. Giclée printing is an affordable way to have what appears to the eye as an original piece of artwork.
Canvas vs. Paper : Giclée prints come on either canvas and paper - both produce amazingly accurate reproductions. While we recommend using a surface similar to the original artwork (canvas prints for oils and paper prints for pastel), we accommodate any preference.
Custom Sizing: We offer prints at ANY size to accommodate the smallest, largest or most unusual spaces. Depending on the original dimensions of a piece, not all images are available at the "standard sizes", if you would like to make a standard size, cropping is an option although we like to stay as close to the original proportions whenever possible.

Detail of Canvas Print : Surface is textured just like traditional canvas so prints look just like the original. Canvas prints are covered with a protective coating.
Canvas prints can be dry mounted and framed as seen above, or they can be stretched like a traditional canvas and hung without a frame as seen below:
Canvas wrapped prints stretched and framed in reveal frames:
Giclée prints on paper need to be framed behind glass as shown below. Paper prints will hold the colors more accuratley of works originally created on paper. Different types of glass are available to protect from UV, and to reduce reflections.
